Three superb goals sealed a well deserved victory for a buoyant Bartestree team that looks to be growing in confidence as the weeks pass by.
In quite a scrappy first half Jim struck a sweet left foot shot from the edge of the 18 yard box which fizzed in to the bottom corner of the net leaving the Hinton keeper hapless, good work down the right from MOM Kieran Dallow combining with the hard working Cam Prewer found Jim Watkins in some space and there was no doubt that he would score. Jamie Hales was then tested by two long range shots that he parried away to safety meaning Bartestree went in to half time deservedly 1 up.
The second half began scrappy but as the Tree grew in confidence and their fitness levels kicked in some really easy on the eye football started at the back with Adam Atkin breaking two tackles to set veteran Stuart New free, his pass to fellow veteran Leigh Stevens allowed Leigh to beat two defenders and from what seemed like an impossible angle he fired the ball in to the roof of the net to make it 2.0
The Tree were now in cruise control with both Stevens and New going close after sublime work down the left flank from Rhys The victory was sealed after some excellent work with Lukas zaltauskas Kieran Dallow and Jords combining well to set Jon Richards free in the box and he duly smashed home a half volley to make it 3.
Gav Pugh came off the bench for a tidy cameo role and after beating two defenders his neat lay of allowed Owen Pearse the room to fire in a wicked shot that was superbly saved by the Hinton keeper.
Kieran thoroughly deserved his MOM vote but the whole team played very well, special mentions to Leigh Stevens, Jamie Hales, Adam Atkins, and Paul Kaye for their contributions too.
