In a game that ebbed and flowed beautifully, full of heart and endeavour Bartestree eventually progressed to the next round after winning a fantastic penalty shoot out 5.4 with Leigh Stevens hammering home the winning spot kick.

Bartestree went one up after 20 minutes through after a Ross defender deflected Dave Goodes low shot past his own keeper. In the 30th minute debutant goalkeeper Jamie Hales clearance struck a Ross forward and cannoned in to the net.

The second half started badly for Bartestree when they failed to defend a Ross corner allowing them to take the lead with a far post header. This only served to spark Bartestree in to life and a quick fire double from MOM Jordan Cullen one from the penalty spot after he was upended put Bartestree 3-2 up, while Bartestree dominated possession Ross looked dangerous on the break and with ten minutes to go they equalised and the game went to extra time.

Adam Atkins was particularly solid in defence ably assisted by Brad Priday and Cam Prewer this solid defence was the platform for waves of Bartestree attacks with both Leig Stevens and Owen Pearse going close before a stunning 25 yard strike from the irrepressible Cullen completed his hat trick and put Bartestree 4.3 up only for Ross to equalise two minutes later from a direct free kick that flew in to the top corner leaving Jamie Hales helpless.

So penalties it was with Cullen, Josh Dallow, Jim, Owen Pearse and finally Stevens rounding it off after Ross failed to score their last kick.
