TOURNAMENT
RULES
1. Each squad can consist of up to a maximum of
10 players.
2. Six a side format will be in operation.
3. The names of the squad must be handed in
upon squad registration on the day
4. Proof of players age and identity should be available
if required for any disputes.
5. Players may only play for a single team in
each age group.
6. Players can only play for the team who they
are registered for 2024/25 season.
7. The first named team on the fixture shall
supply the match ball.
8. GK cannot kick from the hands and must throw
the ball out.
9. Under 8,9 & 10 the retreat to the
Halfway line for Goal kicks will be in operation kick in’s will also be in operation for u8,u9 Heading is NOT permitted for U8 & u9
10. The first named team shall kick off and the
second named team shall choose which end to defend.
11. In the event of colour clash the second
named team shall wear bibs
12. Team should be ready on the pitch two
minutes before scheduled start time
13. There will be no half time
14. Roll on roll off subs will apply with the
permission of the referee
15. Matches will be 12 minutes with no half time
16. There will be no offside
17. Goals cannot be scored direct from a goal
kick
18. The referee’s decision is final
19. The points system for the group stage will
be 3 points for a win 1 point for a draw 0 for a loss
20. If after the group stage more than one team
has the same number of points, then the following criteria will be used to
decide final group positions in this order. 1) GOAL DIFFERENCE result 2) Head
to Head 3) most goals scored 4) penalty shootout 3 penalty kicks followed by
sudden death.
21. In semi-finals
and final in the event of a tie at full time an additional 3 minute extra time
will be played with no half time. If the game is still tied, then penalty kicks
will be used to decide 4 for each team followed by sudden death if required.
22. If a player is sent off, then they are
banned for the rest of the tournament and will not qualify for any medal should
their team be successful.
